VIVO IPL 2021 in India

IPL 2021 – Everything You Need to Know About Schedule, Teams, Venue and Live Stream

Do you know what is the greatest thing happening in 2021? Yes right, it is IPL 2021. The cricket fans are already excited about it while the fate of IPL 2021 is decided. The IPL 2021 edition is starting from April 9, 2021, in India. Yes, you heard right, the 14th edition of IPL is returning to India after almost two years.

We are here waiting for the next episode of the Indian Premier League (IPL), after completing the successful journey of IPL 2020. Despite the Pandemic, the organizers and BCCI did an amazing job of conducting IPL in 2020 which helped a lot of small businesses, bloggers, labour, and advertisers in terms of Return of Investment. But the most important thing is that cricket fans never get disappointed. It was a win-win situation for everyone.

IPL 2021 in India

The biggest question was whether the IPL will be held in India or back in UAE in 2021. But now BCCI has decided to make the cash-rich league happen in India in the domestic stadiums. For this purpose, six cities have been chosen. They are – Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata.

According to resources, BCCI had kept UAE as a backup plan if the COVID situation in India would not go well till the end of March. BCCI had also said that the preferred venue for IPL 2021 will always be the Domestic Stadiums of India.

BCCI is still on edge and watching the whole situation very carefully. Last year we witnessed the successful IPL 2020 in UAE. And only a few franchises had problems in fielding, bowling and batting on the new grounds of UAE.

Now, the final decision has been taken by BCCI to keep the VIVO IPL 2021 limited to India only.

IPL 2021 Broadcast Rights

The 14th edition of IPL will be hosted in INDIA in empty stadiums, which will give a little edge to broadcasters. Like every year, Start Sports is the official broadcast partner of IPL, while Hotstar will cover the live streaming on their App and website.

Hotstar is available in selective countries including India, USA, UK and Canada. During the last IPL, Hotstar’s officials broke the news about its expansion to Singapore. But we haven’t heard any new news about it yet.

On the other hand, Willow TV and YuppTV will also be on board and cover the live IPL on their Cable and Satellite channels.

Indian telecom industry also reaps benefits and spike their profits during every IPL season. Vodafone has launched new packages which include free IPL live streaming with limited data volume. Here are some more live apps to watch IPL 2021 online. You can also watch live stream of matches on Webcric 2022.
