Following the group round matches, the top four teams in the points table will compete in the Playoffs. This will be quite similar to what we've seen in previous IPL tournaments. Qualifier 1 will be played by the top two teams. However, The Eliminator will be played by the lowest two teams. After that, the winner of the EL and the loser in Q1 will compete in Qualifier 2. The winner of Q2 will face the winner of Q1 in the final. Team Changes: When it comes to team changes, the Royal Challengers Bangalore have made the most. Four of their first-choice players are unavailable, while Washington Sundar, their main spinner, is out with a finger injury. Virat Kohli, RCB's ex-captain for the past 9 years will now play as a regular player under a new captain in the IPL 2022.
